That's right.. today my husband came home from a miserably long underway.. He has duty today (boooo!) but we cannot wait for him to "officially" come home tomorrow morning :)

So lets see.. a lot happened this weekend!

My sister IS having a boy! (I knew it!)

My friend Megan had a beautiful little boy.. 7 lbs 8 oz, 23 inches!!

Aunt Flo was due to arrive today but she's a no show so far! I took 2 tests all negitive so i'm not too hopeful but we'll see...

AND I got a call from my hubby on monday (the day they were "supposed" to leave) and he told me they were staying in Annapolis another day so I went down to see him :)

.... my friend Megan is in labor right now! I can't wait to meet her little boy....

What I thought:

I loved this book just as much as all the others. Knowing who Percy really was when he didn't was fun. I really enjoyed "meeting" Hazel and Frank. It was really interesting to learn some of the "Roman" side of everything we learned from Camp Half Blood (The Greek Camp). I see Octavian being a problem in the future. Thought the Amazons running "Amazon" was pretty funny. All in all I it was a very easy book to read because the story just sucks you in! Can't wait for the next one!!

The hubby is on yet another underway.. of course he leaves right when I'm sure I'm ovulating! But hopefully we "tried" enough ;) I am determined to stay positive while Louie is gone.. I am also DETERMINED to stay home instead of going to PA.. Keep your fingers crossed for me!!

My twin sister is pregnant.. She's 8 weeks today and going for her 1st ultrasound on the 18th.

When I was pregnant I included her in EVERYTHING.. She stood in the shower while I took the test. She went to almost ALL of my appointments with me.. ALL of my ultrasounds.. EVERYTHING.

She couldn't be more opposite. She called me and told me she was pregnant.. and that's been it. Her excuse for not asking me to tag along to anything was "well you're not here.. you live in CT".. well My husband is on an underway so I came home to PA for awhile. Still nothing. now it's "I just want it to be me and mike". So I'm not important anymore? I am no longer included??

Am I being unreasonable?? Should I not want to me included with her pregnancy like I included her in mine??

I'm just hurt and sad and want to be there for her..

My mini beach review!

I haven't had a good post in awhile so I thought I would update a little..

My sister and her Boyfriend Mike came to visit us a couple weeks ago and while they were up here we decided to take some trips to the beach! We actually went to 2 beaches that are near our house. Here is my breakdown.. IMO!! lol

The first beach we went to was Eastern Point Beach.. we've been here a couple times.. it's kind of small (for what we're used to) but it's very kid friendly and that is a major plus!! They have a small playground and even a snack bar(house) lol! There was A LOT of seaweed the day we went and there were hardly any waves but other than that and having to pay $10 it was a GREAT time!

The second beach we went to was Ocean Beach.. it's a bit further from our house than E.P.B but it's more like what we're used to. There were actual waves! lol The sand was hard though! Nothing like sand from NJ beaches!! There is a small park with kiddie rides, snack bars and even a little club/restaurant.

I HATE the aftermath of my house! I LOVED my sister and her boyfriend being here for 5 days but seriously my house is TRASHED! Since today is a duty day I've got to get my butt in gear and clean like a mad women but here I am..

I'm in a funk :( I feel bad because I know my sister doesn't want to show how excited she is about being pregnant around me and I tell her all the time that it's fine and i am extremely happy for her but i am kind of sad about everything. She wasn't even TRYING to get pregnant.. in fact she was actively trying NOT to get pregnant (on the pill) and here I sit.. years of trying, months on hormones with nothing to show for it..

No I don't want pity or "don't give up" speeches because I won't give up.. I WANT another child.. i'm just feeling sorry for myself and need to write it down and get it out so i can move on and not have a major meltdown..

I miss home, I miss my friends.. I can't wait to go home next week and just not worry about anything, not stress that I STILL have not gotten a period since the miscarriage.. not worry about if im ovulating....not have to go to see any doctors!

Sorry my posts lately are such a drag but this is my life at the moment.. I promise tomorrow I'll post some of the beach pics and stories from my sister's stay..

Wedding ABCs

I LOVED LOVED LOVED my Wedding and When I saw this I HAD to do it!! I'm stealing this idea from fellow blogger Nicole at Flip Flops and Combat Boots.

Attending: A LOT! I think there were between 150-180 people there!!

Bridesmaids: 7!! Nicole(Maid of Honor), Ashley, Jenn, Steph, Karly, Jen and Abby!

Catering: Our food was awesome! We did "family style" where they served BIG serving dishes on each table and everyone helped their self. It was homestyle food as well.. Chicken, Stuffing, Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, Salad.. and our Cake was so delicious.. white cake with layers of strawberries and whipped cream and whipped cream icing.

Dress: I'm still in love with my dress! I was dead set on getting a Maggie Sottero dress, and I tried on maybe 10 of them? They looked horrible on me! Then the women helping me with the fitting suggested this ivory beaded/lace dress... OMGEE!! Love at first sight!

Engagement: Our engagement was a complete surprise! We had been dating for 4 years and we were engaged for 2 years. :)

Flowers: I loved all our flowers but my bouquet was AMAZING!! White/Light and Dark Pink Roses, Sweet Pea and Stephanotis.

Groomsmen: 7.. Had to have the same amount! Allen (Best Man), Kurt, Kevin, Stevie, Cody, Adam and Justin.

Honeymoon: We went on a Cruise to the Caribbean one week after our wedding! We left from Miami then we went to Cozumel Mexico, Ocho Rios Jamaica and Grand Cayman of the Cayman Islands! (Side note: I also got pregnant on our cruise! LOL)

Invitations: Beautiful! We met someone through my Aunt that makes invitations (by hand) and could design ANY ONE WE WANTED! It was a long process but they turned out amazing.. he also did our programs and thank yous.

Justice of the Peace: Well we got married in a Church, but our priest was great! He is so funny and really made our ceremony personal for us. :)

Keepsakes: We really didn't do a lot of keepsakes but our favors were little wedding cakes from godiva.

Ladies Night: My bachelorette party was great! We went to dinner and a couple bars.. my Mom, my husbands mom, and our aunts came too.. It was such a fun time!

Music: Our DJ did a GREAT job! He was young so he made is super fun!

Newlyweds: How long were you considered "newlyweds"? WOW well since I got pregnant on our honeymoon, I feel like the "honeymoon phase" lasted until we had the baby lol!

Old, new, borrowed, blue: I managed to do ALL of these with my rings! My Gram gave Louie my wedding band(it was a ring my grandfather had made for her which has a Sapphire in it). And I borrowed my Aunt's new Aquamarine ring.

Photography: LOVED them, and our album was AMAZING! This is my favorite picture out of all of them! (Yes that is my husband walking behind me and no it was not planned)

Question popping: I think I've posted about this already. It was a complete surprise!

Reception: Held at a Community Center and it was great.. the food, look, and people were so amazing!

Shoes: I LOVED our shoes! All the ladies had matching shoes.. so we decided to show them off..

Trash the Dress: OMG NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I LOOOOVED my dress too much!

Unique: I don't know how unique it is but we did a "memorial" at our reception for our Grandfathers.. and we also put one on the last page of the programs.

Vows: I laugh every time I watch our video because of 2 things.. 1. I was crying so much that I had a hard time saying my vows so the priest made a joke and everyone laughed at me. 2. During our vows there was a part where the priest said "Do you both openly welcome children" and Louie says yes but he's shaking his head no and smiling.. little did he know we would be pregnant in 2 weeks!

Wedding Woes: Our "party bus" broke down!! We were stranded for over an hour (between the church and our photo location). Our driver was really nice and even took us to the liquor store! (This picture is of me calling to let our parents know we were broken down)

X-rated: We weren't really x-rated but I let him know before hand not to lift up my dress too much because I didn't have anything on under it ;) lol

Young Kids: The only kids there were the ones in the wedding..

Zzzzzz: We stayed at a snazzy hotel on our wedding night.. and were up early the next day because my Aunt and Uncle had a brunch for us at their house so we could open our gifts with our family :)

1st of all the "DRAMA" had NOTHING to do with my husband.. why would you just assume that!? 2nd I barely know you! I've met you once (at my wedding!) and I've never seen you again!! this blows my mind!!

i definitely deleted him and asked the hubs to say something to him... I'm just sooo mad!

The United States Navy!

I never expected to be where I am today. I thought I would always live in PA, raise my kids there, buy a house there.. be close to our family. A month after Louie and I started dating (the second time lol) he joined the Navy. The Navy has been our life for 11 years.. a lot of that time being separated. I've had to learn A LOT, become independent, and most of the time I've had to raise our daughter alone.

Don't get me wrong I LOVE our life. The Navy has given us so many opportunities that never would have been possible otherwise. I would NEVER be able to be a stay-at-home mom if he had a "real world" job. We have met some incredible people that will ALWAYS be in our lives, no matter where they are now.

My thoughts:

I was REALLY excited to read this book. Being a mil spouse I thought "yeah I'll really be able to relate to this book". WRONG!! I was so disappointed!! This book is a collection of stories about different families from Fort Hood. Wives of deployed soldiers, wives of husbands that got to stay, husbands that are deployed, husbands that just came home... catch my drift? Well let me tell you this book made me SAD. A common theme throughout the book was cheating. Don't get me wrong, I know it happens.. more often then I care to think about, but really? Would it hurt to put in a story about a couple that made it through deployment and homecoming WITHOUT any major drama? I know it can happen, why make it seem like it's the exception?

I won't ramble on anymore, lets just say that this book wasn't a favorite and I doubt I'll be reading anything else by this author. I give this book 1 out of 5 stars.

My great great grandparents (on my mothers side) came over from Ireland and my whole family is VERY proud to be Irish.. my grandparents and aunt and uncle went there and came home saying we HAD to go there one day.. Louie and I have been talking about it for years.. he wants to go to Italy (since his family is EXTREMELY Italian) but I keep saying No that we are going to Ireland. Hopefully one day soon I get to go!!

My thoughts on the book:

I commend Mr Fixler on his service for our country and for his continued support of our troops, but this book was not my cup of tea. I was not prepared for the language! Now don't get me wrong, I live with a sailor so I've heard my fair share of cuss words but WOW! It was also very descriptive in just how nasty and grimey it was over there.

The book was easy to read but I thought it jumped around a lot from story to story. I enjoyed how he kept the same theme throughout the whole book..being COOL, SEMPER COOL! :) I LOVED seeing all his pictures. They really helped my visualize what he was going through.

I know this is all his point of view and his opinion but I really disagree with his view on PTSD. My Uncle fought in Vietnam and he came home a different man. My Aunt used to wake up to my Uncle crying in his sleep. She would sometimes find him hiding in the closets, scared for his life. To say that you don't believe in PTSD? Completely blows my mind. I understand that he may have come home relatively the "same" but many men were not as lucky.

I thought the whole ordeal he went through with his store being help up was remarkable! I'm so glad that he came away from that unharmed.

The best part of this book, in MY opinion, is that 100% of it's proceeds go to wounded combat veterans. How AMAZING is that!!! Just for that alone I think YOU ALL should go buy this book!!

I decided to pick 2 people..

First my Mom. She has been there for me through EVERYTHING. There has never been a time in my life that I couldn't turn to my mom. I love her more than anything and I don't know how I could have gotten through half of the things I have without her.

I love you Mom!!

Second my best friend Ashley! I have known Ashley for 24 years..crazy right?! We have been through so much, but I know it has only made our friendship stronger. Whenever I'm having a bad day or a fight with my sister or husband, I know I can call her and she will ALWAYS pick up.. she's my sounding board and I thank God all the time that she is in my life.

I loved this book! It was such a gripping book that I could not put it down. I fell in love with "Jacob" and thought the author did a fantastic job telling his story. The only thing I didn't care for was the crudeness of some of the "romantic encounters". Over all I was pleased with this book from beginning to end. I give it 4/5 stars!!

1. During military separations (whether short or long) how do you keep yourself positive and motivated?

I usually go home (to PA) for at least part of the time he's gone. I love spending time with my family/friends. When I stay in CT, I usually hang out with friends.. clean A LOT (I kinda have ocd about cleaning everyday) and try to do fun things with Bells.

2. What is your favorite concert you have ever been to?

HANDS DOWN...Rascal Flatts!!!! It was seriously the BEST concert I have EVER been to! We (Nicole, Ashley and I) tailgated, then had the most amazing seat!! We were literally a foot from the stage..

3. What do you miss most about your “hometown”?

My family, friends...favorite restaurants.. gas being CHEAP!

4. If you could run in any race, which charity would you choose to support?

Well I'm definitely not a "runner" but I've walked in a 5k for Autism Speaks for the past 3 years.. and I also give donations to Susan G Komen and St. Judes.

5. You find out Willy Wonka is your father, what 3 course meal do you INSIST he create in that stick of gum?

Love this! #1 would have to be Hot 'n Honey Wings from PJ's.. one of my fav places to eat in PA. # 2 would be my pot roast.. LOVE IT.. and # 3 would be my chocolate/white cake/ banana/ chocolate sauce concoction from Cold Stone!

I absolutely LOVED this show. It is by far my favorite show ever and I was heartbroken when they took it off the air. I have seen EVERY SINGLE EPISODE (more than once). I also own the complete series on DVD, because I have the most awesome Mom ever.

Little fun fact.. I watched the ENTIRE series while I was in labor before I went to the hospital ;)

Did you look at rings together?
No. At the time he was stationed in WA and I was in college in PA. He did ask me what I "wanted it to look like" but other than that, it was ALL him. He did EXTREMELY WELL!!!

Do you like your ring? Did you from the beginning?...and be honest!

I was in love with it from the moment I saw it!! I LOVE Sapphires and was beyond happy that he picked one out that wasn't your typical engagement ring.

How often do you where your rings?

I'm horrible at this. I can't sleep with jewelry on, so every night I put them in a little bowl that my brother made me (it's right next to the bed) Other than that, I always have them on.

Do you clean your rings?

Professionally? Not since right before our wedding.. BUT I have a cleaning kit and I clean them every 2 months or so.

What went through your mind the very first time you saw your ring?

I could not comprehend what was happening! It was so out of the blue, we were in the middle of watching a movie "Office Space" and he just yelled for me to come into the kitchen.. When I walked in he was standing there looking kind of sick LOL. Then he gave me a hug and got down on one knee.. It was such a surprise.. I think the first thought I had about the ring that it was perfect.

Spaghetti Pie!!!

I've been making this since high school and every time I talk about it people look at me like I'm nuts. So here is how to make it :)

What you'll need:
About half of a 16 oz box of spaghetti noodles
1 large egg (separated)
1/2 lb of ground beef
2 cups of spaghetti sauce
1 cup of ricotta cheese
1tbsp of parsley
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
9 inch pie pan

Step - by - Step:
1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Boil spaghetti. (It forms a crust better if the noodles are a little over done)
Brown meat. (Keep meat in skillet, drain fat and add spaghetti sauce and let simmer)

2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together noodles, egg whites and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese.
Grease pie pan. Then press noodle mixture into the pie pan to make the "crust".

3. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, egg yolk, parsley and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Spread mix into center of your "crust".

4. Spread meat/sauce mixture onto the top of the "pie". Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese over top.

5. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes. Remove foil and bake for 10 more minutes.

I have recently become more active on a Military Wives site.. and became aware of "BOL" or bupers online. I knew about it but didn't know I could get on it and read through everything. Well I just got doing exactly that and WOW! I honestly don't think I can put into words HOW PROUD OF MY HUSBAND I AM!!! Just reading all the recommendations from everyone he has served under made me want to cry. I had no idea he has done so much during his time in the Navy. He doesn't talk about it at all. He thinks of it like this - when he comes home he wants to be away from everything Navy related so I "try" not to bug him. But again.. WOW! I am one proud wife. Can't wait for him to get home today!

1. Aside from no deployments, what is one thing you would want to make the MilSpouse life "perfect"?

Getting paid even a quarter of what these professional athletes and/or celebrities get paid! Maybe then I would actually get to go SEE my husband when he is deployed!

2. Just how many peppers did Peter Piper pick?

The more important questions is WHAT KIND of peppers did Peter Piper pick!

3. If you could have any career in the world with nothing holding you back, what would you do?

I would be a professional photographer. I LOVE taking pictures ;)

4. Do you have a service oriented tattoo and if so what is it. If you don't what would you get?

I have 5 tattoos but none of them are "service oriented". I do want to get a little anchor somewhere.. not sure where though.

5. Imagine a block of time has opened up in your busy day for you to take a class in anything you like. What subject would you choose?

My thoughts: I was really excited to read this.. Kim and I have been talking about it for awhile and the beginning of the book was GREAT. (Although, Could he have thought up a better name?? John Smith?? REALLY?!?! That was the best you could do?? HELLO Pocahontas!!!) The rest of the book? Not so much. Is it normal to want to skip the "most important" fight scene of the story? I think not! But that was how it was for me! It literally put me to sleep! I liked the characters and I found that I could understand if not relate to most of them but I was so disappointed by what SHOULD have been the most dramatic and attention grabbing part of the book that I didn't even want to finish it!! Started off great.. ended HORRIBLY!!

Also I wish he would have done a little more back story on the "first three"..

Overall I give this book 2/5 stars... Better luck with the next one!!

It's been awhile since I've posted, A LOT has happened! My little family moved into a new house in Connecticut. It's been an adjustment because our old house was a little bigger but we're making due. This house has a fenced in yard, and it's a ranch (all one level). Also a major plus, it's not attached to anyone! We've been in navy housing for 4 years now and this is our first time with no attached neighbors. We are very HAPPY about that :)

By far most important "event" is that

The LOVE of my LIFE is FINALLY HOME!!

It was such a looooooooooooong 7 months!! Thank GOD for skype! He got to go to a lot of cool places this time (Israel, Bahrain, Dubai and Cyprus and Diego Garcia) but sadly he hardly took any pictures!! MEN!

Belly was so excited all morning that "Daddy was coming home!!" She loves him so much really had a hard time the whole deployment.. so when she finally got to see him that was it for mommy! lol Her world revolves around Daddy now, and I have no problem with that. He is wrapped around her little finger. I love just sitting back and watching the two of them together.. makes me REALLY want another baby but we'll see.

This is long enough for now maybe next time I'll get into Christmas, New Years, Birthdays.... yeah I've been out of this for awhile lol... TOODLES :)

Hunger Games: Week 4

I really enjoyed this book. It was so different than anything I've been reading recently so it was a nice way to mix things up.

I liked - The way the author really made me get into the story. I sometimes felt I WAS in the games.. I drew me in! I loved Katniss.. she is such a strong women but vulnerable at the same time. I admire Peeta (or Pete as I call him) it took some serious balls to join up with the careers to lead them away from Katniss.. I cried when Rue died.. I thought of her as a kid sister and while I knew she HAD to die for Katniss to win, it still made me sad.. I guess you could say that over all I love the book lol

I didn't like - How gorey it was!!! I get it.. kids had to die but I didn't need it described to me so much. I also didn't like how they made Haymitch out to be. I wish he wouldn't have been a stumbling drunk.. hit too close to home.. I also wish they would have explained what actually happened to make "Panem" in the first place.

Just started the next one.. hope I like it as much as this one!

Hunger Games: Week 3

So needless to say I'm loving it. My question would be.. How do YOU think it should end??

I think Peeta and Katniss should win, obviously, and I feel like they will be out of sorts with their "relationship" when they get back to district 12. I wonder what Katniss is going to do when she sees Gale again.. Does she REALLY have any feelings for Peeta?? I will probably be finishing the book tonight..

It took me awhile to figure out who I wanted to play Katniss and Peeta but here are my votes....

Hunger Games: Week 2

1. What do you think about Katniss getting an 11? Did they give her an 11 for her talent or simply to make her a target and teach her a lesson? I think they we putting a target on her back.. Now everyone in the games must think she's the one to eliminate first.

2. What do you think about Peeta confessing his love for Katniss during his interview!?! Is it real, or just for show? I think he has had a thing for her since they were younger, but was "advised" to tell the world now.

3. At one point Katniss is trying to think of where the games are going to be. She thinks of a desert, swamp and a frigid wasteland. Where did you imagine it would be before you read it in the books? Do you think they picked the "right" place? I was worried they were going to be in a desert, so i was happy with the "forest". That was the best scene for Katniss to survive.

4. First thoughts when you found out Peeta was with the career kids? I was surprised at first but once I thought about it I was relieved. Him being with them means he can keep them AWAY from Katniss and if they get near her he can warn her

5. I have a love for Rue from the start, What do you think about her "helping"(read: not killing when she could) Katniss? Should Katniss trust her? I feel like she looks up to Katniss. She reminds me of Prim.

6. "Favorite" part of the book so far? My favorite by far is her "makeover". I loved reading about the wild things they did to transform her for the world to see.

I think that Katniss thinks of Gale more like a brother.. and Gale thinks of Katniss more "romantically" lol

2. A piece of me wanted Gale to volunteer also, to protect Katniss. How did you feel about the situation?
I was proud of Katniss for volunteering for her sister. And I understood why Gale didn't.. Her sister and mother.. in addition to his family need someone to watch over them.. He is a better choice to do that.

3. Why do you think the capitol treats the tributes so well before they go to the games?
I kind of think it is to mess with their heads.. well for most of them anyways.. they are USED to having to fend for themselves.

4. Why are they having Peeta & Katniss show they are untied before the games start? Is it a good idea or a bad one?
I think it's to get under all the other teams skin.. The rest of the teams are all keeping to themselves and are only looking out for themselves.. Peeta and Katniss are united, and making the other teams think they will be looking out for one another.

5. What was the point of Katniss shooting the arrow into the Gamesmakers table?
She is a force to be reckoned with. She will not be forgotten and she should be taken seriously! :)

So I get this email from louie with some boat news and it annoys me but whatever.. then one of the wives puts this on my page...

"I got 2 emails from justin. He said he asked your husband to take duty the day they get home. Is that why? He asked because it's our anniversary on that day but I didn't know about it until today. "

EXCUSE ME

1. Louie had duty the day before they left.. and NO ONE in his division would switch with him even tho we had our Housing inspection..
2. He missed OUR anniversary due to being gone...
3. He'll be on leave!!!

WHAT effin nerve!!!!!!! I shouldn't get to see my husband the day they get home because it's your anniversary... boo hoo!

Physical: finally bit the bullet and went to the "lady doctor"... was VERY pleased! She's going to do some tests and give me something to MAKE me get a period and ovulate!!! YAY!

What's something fun you did this week: took a roadtrip to CT with my sister to fill out all the paperwork for a house!!! what an ordeal but it's done thank god and we should be back in CT the week or so after thanksgiving!!!

1. What was your 1st impression of each of the characters?

-Chief- I think he seems kinda quiet, takes his job seriously and he really loves his wife.

-Andrea- She seems like a typical Mom, not wanting to spend time on herself. She also seems like a Mom of the group.

-Jeffrey- He also seems quiet, hard worker that LOVES what he does and kinda uptight?

-Delilah- She seems like a lot of fun, life of the party, and a fun Mom.. but she seems unhappy in her marriage.. or least bored with it.

-Addison- He's already on my shit-list for being involved with Tess... He seems stuck-up and snobbish.. ah money doesn't buy you love huh?!

-Phoebe- Oh she makes me sad! The whole deal with her twin brother (I'm a softie for twins being one myself n all ;) ) She's seriously medicated, and still grieving her brother and now she lost 2 close friends! I feel bad for her.

2. Have you ever lost a close friend? ( You can elaborate on this one or not.. completely up to you!)

I have lost friends but no "close" friends... thank GOD!

3. Affairs- if you knew one of your friends or their spouse was having an affair would you confront them, tell your friend or their spouse, OR keep it to yourself? Explain.

I would totally confront them! I know what cheating does to people and to a family so I think the other person in the relationship deserves the truth! Don't care if it's my business or not.

4. Do you have a group of friends you hang out with all the time? What kind of things do you do?

I have 2 groups of friends.. One group in PA and One group in CT...

PA GROUP- Mostly ladies, we usually do dinner, manicures and pedicures or nights out dancing!
CT GROUP- Mostly couples, we usually do dinners, or game nights!

5. What do you think happened to Greg and Tess? (I will be including this question every week.. to see how your answer changes as you read)

I think that Greg not being a good enough sailor was in over his head.. I'm sure they were drinking since it was their anniversary and all. Hello lets drink and try to sail a boat at the same time!!!

And of course what do you think of the book so far???

I'm really liking it so far! I keep trying to think of what really happened to Greg and Tess. This book will definitely make you think twice about your friends..

My Thoughts:

I got so engrossed with this book.. I think it took me all of 3 days to read it. I wish this place really existed because I want to go there. The descriptions of the food made my mouth water!!! Personally I wanted Fiona to end up with JZ and it pissed me off that he didn't even go to see her before she died. I loved Thatcher for Marrying her, and he made me think of my old neighbors (Matt and Fahed) I have known them my whole life and I could see them doing the same thing for my sister and I if we were in that situation. This book made me want to work in a restaurant, but then I remembered I don't like people LOL I highly recommend this book... and ANY book by Elin Hilderbrand in fact.

SPOLER ALERT!!!!!!! I am talking about things that happened at the END of the book... so if you didn't finish it don't read this!

Was this book what you expected it to be? SO NOT what I thought it was going to be like... I LOVED this book by the way.. got completely sucked in. Was NOT expecting the cancer.. or Dan to completely forgive Darwin... there was a lot in this book that surprised me.. BUT I like that :)

Do you have a weekly gathering of friends for whatever purpose and tell us all about it. well since moving back home to PA I have a monthly "Ladies Night" with some friends.. I have known these ladies since I was 4 yrs old so it's so GREAT to see them!!

In other BBC news... lol.... I am hosting the next book!

What made you happy this week: Belly doing so well at school, getting stuff from louie including my KICK ASS EARRINGS!!!!! He's the best!!!

LOVED!! this book!! I really enjoy Kristin Hannah.. So far I've read "Between Sisters", "Winter Garden", "Firefly Lane" and this.. I read this book right after my friend Kim went home to WA and was posting about all the places she went to and a lot of them were in this book! It made the story more real for me and it was such an easy read! LOOOOOOVED it!

My thoughts: LOVED this book! It shows you a couple points of view but it's not confusing or hard to follow. The characters were easy to relate to. It is definitely an easy and enjoyable read! I highly recommend it!!

I call again this week and am told that the ONLY one who knows if she is on the list is in the hospital (she's the old principal and 84) NO ONE else knows if shes on the list, and can't find out.... so now i must enroll her somewhere else because this is nonsense!!!! im sad tho because I WENT THERE and shane goes there so i really wanted her to go there too!!! (not to mention it is 3 blocks from my moms LOL)

1) What do you think about Georgia and James situation? I sooo think that they are going to get back together!! They obviously still have feelings for each other but Georgia doesn't want to admit it.

2)Do you like the book so far? I love it!!! Such an easy read... so I'm actually reading 2 other books too but I love it!!

3) Do you have some kind of club or weekly meeting with your friends if so what is it about? WELLLLLL lol in college we used to have a "thursday night crew" we would all get together.. possibly underage drinking(shhhh) yea we were pretty wild but yep we just made it a weekly thing for almost 2 yrs!!! does that mean i was an alcoholic?!?! LOL I miss those days!!!!

4) Do you think Dakota is playing her parents off of each other? I DO! Well sort of?? I think she's LOVING finally having a Dad around but she's also using him (a little) to get what away with what she can't with her mom. ( Hope that makes sense)

5) Do you think Anita should reconsider Marty's offer? I think they both have feelings for each other but it's been so long for both of them that they don't know what to do. I think they need a little push.

6) Why do you think that "Cat" decided to contact Georgia after so long? Honestly I think that she misses what they had in high school... I don't think she has ANY friends or anything actually meaningful in her life so she's trying to act like she's so happy and so successful but she actually wants her friendship back.....

Deployment Recap: Week 10

Emotional: It was a rough week.. our 4th Wedding Anniversary!! Wish he was here to spend it with me but since we haven't spent an anniversary together since our 1st one you'd think I would be used to it! lol

Physical: Doing alright, lost between 10-12 lbs (depending on which scale I use) since I've moved home. In other health news, I have a sore throat and cough AGAIN!!! I swear I keep getting sick!

Communication: GREAT! I was so bummed because I didn't get one during the day on our anniversary but at around 7 I got 3!!!!!! emails!! Then I got 4 or 5 more this week!!!

What's something fun you did this week: I went to the beach with my sister.. JUST US! No kids, no pets, no parents... it was FANTASTIC!!! Love You Cole!! I also got a TATTOO!!!!! It's a mother/daughter symbol with sunflowers(bellys fav flower) and her name

What are you looking forward to next week: Yeah no idea.. no big plans..

What made you happy this week: My Parents and Sister bought me a HUGE edible arrangement for my anniversary.. Then spending the day with my sister.. LOVE my family!!

What made you sad/mad this week: Louie not being here.. again.. and Alcoholic people who shall remain nameless

What do you miss this week: My Husband.. and SEX

How's Belly this week: she has been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CRANKY!!! No idea why or if something is bothering her (like her teeth?) but she has been so horrible this week..

I would be getting married. It's funny how long it took to get here and then how fast the day flew by! It was one of the BEST days of my life and I am so blessed to have found my soul mate so young.

We started dating when I was 14 yrs old!! How crazy is that! The one thing I am most thankful for is that my grandfather got to at least meet Louie. He was one of the most important people in my life.

Emotional: Alright, I went up to CT with my friend. Made me realize how much I miss it up there, and how much I miss Louie.

Physical: Doing good... need to get to the gym more often tho!

What's something fun you did this week: Went to the Philly Zoo and took a road trip to CT with Ashley.

What are you looking forward to next week: Going to the beach just my sister and I. NEED it!! My 4th Anniversary is on Thursday so I need some distractions...

What made you happy this week: Seeing how happy my brother was to go to the zoo.

What made you sad/mad this week: How bout what scared the Sh!t out of me?!?! My sister being MIA... not even going to get into it.

What do you miss this week: CT!!! I miss it a lot, didn't think I would.

1. What is your favorite book? This is tough.. but if I HAD to pick a favorite it would be Pieces of My Sisters Life by Elizabeth Joy Arnold

2. If you could live in any book what would it be? why? I'd pick any of the books from the Sweep series!!! Being a witch would be kick ass!!

3. Whats a book you really want to read? Little Women

4. Is there a book that reminds you of yourself or your life?

5. Whats a book you want to read but have had a hard time getting into? I'm STILL reading Eat, Pray, Love... it is a good book but it's so detailed and so into her "spiritual enlightening"

Emotional: Good.. Things are mooooving along!

Physical: SICK SICK SICK!!!! I have EFFIN Strep Throat!!! What 25 yr old gets that!

Communication: Only 2 e-mails! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO but better than nothing!

What's something fun you did this week: We went to DORNEY!!! Had a lot of fun.. pictures of that to come soon... I also bought my computer today!!! It will be here on Tuesday!

What are you looking forward to next week: Um Hello! Getting my new comp!! and Sushi Night with my Mom, Sister, Bestest friend and her Momma!

What made you happy this week: Got my package from the hubs this week!!!!! Love him sooooooooooooo much!

Emotional: Doing good. Keeping busy so time seems to be going fast :)

Physical: Sick... Think I have a sinus infection or something.. Not losing weight as fast or as easy as i want! lol Going to start going to the Gym plus continuing my walks..

Communication: has been good so far! Just got my first email since they left port.. Ive been told not to expect much right now lol

What's something fun you did this week: honestly not a thing! I've been cleaning and helping with the remodel of the downstairs bathroom.. started painting last night and as soon as that is over.. on to the kitchen remodel!!

What are you looking forward to next week: PAYDAY! I need to get Layla to the vet and get our rooms for the beach at the end of the month!

What made you happy this week: My sister.. we've been spending a couple nights at her place and have a blast!

What made you sad/mad this week: My Mom has been stressing me out.. she can't handle the house being a construction zone and takes it out on everyone!

What do you miss this week: QUIET!

How's Belly this week: She's alright.. has an ear infection and pink eye in both eyes but she's been taking her medicine like a champ! She's still doing awesome at going on the potty. We are both waiting for the packages Daddy sent home.. Can't wait to see what he got us :)

Deployment Recap: Week 6

Emotional: Pretty good!! No more hormonal mess.. and I've been talking to the hubs so I've been like lil miss sunshine over here!

Physical: SUNBURNED!!!! ouch

Communication: EXCELLENT! The hubs bought an "unlocked phone" so I've been able to talk to him a lot on that.. and some skype. However the skype has been shotty because of the internet over in that hot hell hole.

What's something fun you did this week: this will sound strange but just hung out at home with Bells.. it's been a crazy couple of weeks and the weeks coming will be crazy too so i'm liking just hanging out.

What are you looking forward to next week: Sushi date with the ladies!! My bestest just got home from a week long cruise to Alaska, so I can't wait to catch up with her and her mom... My mom and sister are coming too... Should be a fun time!!

What made you happy this week: Talking to the hubs and my baby girl..

What made you sad/mad this week: In-Law DRAMA!!!! I wish I could force someone to go to AA! Pretty soon she won't be allowed to babysit at all!

What do you miss the most: Being in MY HOUSE with MY LITTLE FAMILY!!!

How's Bella this week: She has been so good! Potty training is going so well... no accidents in over 2 weeks!! We should hear this week if she got into school!
